During a counseling session, you can expect a safe, confidential space where you are encouraged to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and concerns. The session will typically begin with us discussing what brings you to counseling and any goals you have. I’ll listen actively and provide guidance and support as we explore your concerns. Counseling is a collaborative process, meaning your input and feedback are crucial to ensure we’re working toward solutions that feel right for you.

The length of counseling depends on your goals and concerns. Some people may need only a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term support. We’ll adjust as needed to ensure you’re making progress.

Yes, everything you share is confidential, with a few exceptions.Your privacy is very important to me, and I’ll explain confidentiality guidelines at the start of our work together.

You’ll begin to notice positive changes, whether in your thoughts, feelings, or behavior. We’ll check in regularly to assess progress and make sure we’re moving toward your goals.

It’s completely normal to feel nervous or unsure about starting counseling. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but many clients find that once they begin, the process feels easier and more supportive than they expected. My role is to create a comfortable, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts at your own pace. If you ever feel uncomfortable, you’re always welcome to share those feelings, and we can work through them together.

Yes, I offer both online and in-person sessions to suit your preference and convenience. Whether you choose to meet virtually or face-to-face, the support and confidentiality remain the same.
